Introduction to Urban Economics
Bachelorveranstaltung (B.Sc.)
Kursbeschreibung:
This course provides an introduction into approaches to economic analysis that explicitly consider location. We will cover the causes and consequences of location choice by firms and households in the context of an optimization model, regional resources and human capital, local labor markets, and regional specialization in a global economy. The goal of this course is for students to be able to apply rigorous economic reasoning to explain the location decisions of firms and households, and to assess how the interaction of these decisions with public policy affects local urban economic development in a global economy.
Der Kurs wird auf Englisch angeboten.
Es handelt sich bei dem Kurs um einen Blockkurs, der im Juni abgehalten wird. Die genaue Termine können RWTHOnline entnommen werden
